A 1965 Shelby Cobra takes on a 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, as well as several other similar models, to see which is its closest successor. Other cars included in the experiment are a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and a Dodge Viper SRT-10.
The Shelby Cobra was originally created AC Cars, in which Caroll Shelby subbed out a Ford V8 into a AC Ace sports car (rather than its usual standard Ford Zephyr engind). With that, history was made. Caroll Shelby and Ford parted ways for some time, leading to him taking the Cobra to Dodge, which in turn lead to the Dodge Viper. The Mercedes-Benz takes a similar page from the same book, while the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is a (successful) attempt to capture some of the beauty of the original Shelbys.
